ing of the Waynesville Woman's ^
Club Thursday afternoon in the
First Methodist Church.
Cpi. Smith emphasized the im
portance of public concern over '
i safety on the highway and stated _
that some accidents are caused by
troubles in the home He listed
traffic violations leading to acci
dents as: failure to yield right-of
| way, speeding, passing on a hill or
curve, hit and run drivers,- fail
ure to signal properly, driving on
the wrong side of the road, follow
ing too closely, and drunken driv
ing. His suggestions for preve.it
I ing accidents included juedfence
1 to traffic regulations, expecting
the unexpected from the other
driver, and keeping motor vehicles
in good driving condition. ,
