Mias Quinlan will show the film
"Horizons of Hope", which is a
film on Cancer Research made at
Memorial Hospital and Sloan Ket- '
tiering in New York. She will
also explain the educational and
service program of the American
Cancer Society. The theme of i
| this year's campaign is "Fight |
Cancer with a Checkup and a
Check".
This month will see many ac
tivities on behalf of the drive I
carried on by Beta Sigma Phi
chapters across the nation. As
they did last year, members will
help distribute literature to In
I form the public about the danger
of cancer. They will stage vari
ous ways and means projects for
donations to the Cancer Society
for research Into the disease.
Besides the work carried on by
individual chapters to combat
cancer. Beta Sigma Phi has its
own special International project
?support of cancer research at
Brown University at Providence,
Rhode Island.
Members of both chapters are
urged to attend this meeting.
