Frederick Mc Clure Zorbaugh of Miami, Florida, ; became the bride of Charles Pur i cell Alley of Waynesville on Sat i urday, March 10, in the First Presbyterain Church at Thomas ville, Georgia. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. A. H. Empson, Sr., of Waynes ville and the late Doyle Davis Al : ley. The Rev. John Spencer, pastor of the church, performed the cere mony. Mrs. Alley, a summer resident of this area, was graduated from Coral Gables, Florida High School and is now a junior at Florida State University in Tallahassee. She is an Art major in the school of Arts and Sciences, a member of Pi Beta Phi social sorority and the art staff of the Tally-ho. She is a member of the Queen's Court of Gymkana. During last summer Mrs. Alley taught baton twirling to a class of youngsters known as the Way nesville Mountainettes and per formed with her class at various summer programs. The bridegroom, a graduate of Waynesville Township High School, attended Oklahoma City University and is now in his Junior year at Florida State University where he is majoring iq Instru mental Music Education. He is a member of lambda Chi Alpha soc ial fraternity, the symphonic band, and recently elected president of Florida , State University Orches tra. Mr. and Mrs. Alley are at home at 919 West Park Avenue, Talla hassee. New Guild Group Is Organized At Long's Chapel A new unit o( the Wesleyan Serv ice Guild of Long's Chapel Metho dist Church was organized Mon day night in the home of Mrs. Wal lace Ward, a district officer of the Guild. Mrs. Ward discussed the func tions of a Guild and assisted*with the organization. Miss Alma Brown ing and Mrs. Kenneth Stahl, mem bers of the first unit of the Guild at Long's CJupef,-a4oo assisted the new group. Officers were elected as follows: president, Mrs. Walter Camlin; vice president, Miss Peggy Mc Cracken; treasurer, Mrs. Gaynelle Abel; and secretary, Mrs. Thomas Hooper. Meetings will be held on the flrsf Monday night of each month. Nine members were included in the new group. ? ? ? W. C.
