Elks Camp Set
For 12th Season
At Hendersonville

Caroline Elks Camp for Boy*
near Hendersonville will begin
June 17, according to an an
nouncement by Boyce Wnltmire
Sr., camp director.
Whitmlre indicated that the

Opening the season will be a
delegation of deserving youngsters
from Ashevilie. Brevard, Hender
sonville. Morganton. Shelby, North
Wllkexboro and Waynesville and
the groups will arrive on Sunday.
June 17, to stay until July 1;
when the second camping period
begins. '

July 1-15: Gastonia, High Point,
Hickory. Mooresville, Winston
Salem. Salisbury.
July 15-20: Asheboro. Burling
ton. Charlotte. Durham. Greens
boro, Kaleigh, Heidsville.
July 29-Aug. 12: Elizabeth City,
Fayettevlllc. Goldsboro. Hender
son, Greenville, Kinston, Lumber
ton, Morohead City, Rocky Mount.

visits to other camps and scenic .
points of the area will also be
on the program. There will be
picture shows and other forms of
entertainment, and the boys will
b- allowed a visit for one after
noon to Hendersonville during
the camping period.
Attention will be given to the
religious life of the youngsters
with daily services on schedule.

and all expenses will be borne by t
