Miss Dorothy Lane Liner Is Bride Of Ted W. Noland . . . - ? i Miss Dorothy Lane Liner, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Liner of Lake Junaluska. became the bride of Ted Wilson Noland. son of Mr. and Mrs. Reuel Noland of Waynes ville. Route 4, in Long's Chapel Methodist Church, Saturday, June 30. at 8 p.m. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Don Payne, pastor, and 1 wedding music was presented by Miss Peggy McCracken. organist, and Richard Hipp*. vocalist. The altar wqs decorated with palms and fern interspersed with branched candelabra and floor bas kets of white gladioli and double white larkspur. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore matching lace mitts i and her finger-tip veil of imported illusion was attached to a crown of hand-cut lace encrusted with seed pearls and sequins She car ried a cascade bouquet of Cecile Brunqer rosea garlanded with stephanotis. Miss Elizabeth Mustian of Kit troll. coljege roommate of the bride, was maid of honor. Iter floor-length gown of pink nylon net over taffeta was designed with satin cummerbund and ruffled apron effect. She wore a matching head band and carried a cascade bouquet of Laddie carnations, gyp Kophila. and larkspur. The bridegroom's father served as best man and ushers- were Joseph Morrow and Janu s Frigate Honorary bridesmaids were Miss Mary Frances McCracken. Miss Bates Ra\, and Miss Lillian Knox Medford, all of Route 4. Waynes-. Wile, Miss Caroline York of Can ton. Miss Jackie Sue Redmond, cousin of the bridegroom, of Water villc. and Miss Nancy Raltihone of Camp Hill. Pa. cousin of the bride. The parents of. the bride enter tained al an informal reception fol ' lowing the ceremony, Assisting in serving were honorary brides maids. Mrs Liner, mother of the bride, wore a walti-length dress of ice blue net over taffeta trimmed with sequins. Mrs. Noland. mother of the bridegroom wore blue lace over taffeta. For a wedding trip to Florida the bride Wore a fitted dress of blue cotton tweed trimmed in white, white accessories, and a corsage from her wedding bouquet. Mrs. Noland was graduated from Waynesville Township High School and is a rising senior at Greensboro College where she is majoring In F.lemcntary Education. Mr. Noland. who recently com pleted three years of service in the Marine Corps, will complete his education at Western Carolina Col lere as an Industrial Arts major.
