Announcement has been made of
the marriage of Miss Glenda Lee
Carswell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Raymond A. Carswell of Route 1,
VVaynesville. to Leslie McFalls. son
of Mr. and Mrs. William McFalls
of Route 3, Morganton.
The ceremony was performed by
the Rev. Alcy Kates, Jr. in ,his
home on Saturday, June 30. at 4:30
p.m.
The bride wore a blue eyelet
dress and carried a white Bible
with white carnations.

The couple left after the cere
mony for a short wedding trip and
are now making their home with
the parents of the bridegroom in
Morganton.

tage-Henredon Furniture Company ;
in Morganton.

Brown, Jr. Her subject was "The
Typical American Home."

group discussed plans for further
aid to the Clyde recreation pro
gram.
