All wire serv ices and spors editors have agreed to the uniform style which will cut out two lines from each statistic box, yet will give all the information as hereto fore. Under the changes, the lines previously used "Passes at tempted" and "Passes complet ed" will be combined into a single line. "Passes" thus: East West Passes 7-9 1-2 That will mean that the East i completed 7 out of 9 passes while the West completed 1 out of 2 attempted. The second change deals with punts. Instead of number of punts in one and punting aver- j age in another, the single line ! will be headed "punts" and read i 4-40.5; which will mean there were 4 punts, with an average of 40.5 yards. All of this is designed for ! easier reading and understanding ; on the part of the readers.
