Crawford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Craw ford, Houte 3, recently departed from Germany for,the U. S. as part of Operation Gyroscope, the \rmy\s unit rotation plan. Specialist Crawford, a mess ser geant in Company G of the divi sion's 47th Regiment entered the Army in July 1954 and received basic training at Fort Bliss, Tex. He has been overseas since Jan uary 1955. The 22-year-old soldier is a former student at Warren Wilson Junior College in Swannanoa.
