The largest number of entries
ever received at a Canton horse
show, according to Chairman W. W.
Morgan, yielded honors to Patty
Morgan in Canton's annual Labor
Day horse show Monday.
Morgan said that there were 96
horses and a total of 212 entries,
coming from Aiken, Greenville,
Spartanburg and Ciemsdn, S. C?
as well as from western North Car
olina.
Patty Morgan's Golden Dan was
named champion and her Golden
Boy, reserve champion, at the term
ination of the show events. The
championship was determined by
the number of points accumulated
"by a mount in the various classes.
