For Debut Miss Alice Alexander left today for Haleigh where she will be pre sented to North Carolina Society at the annual Debutante Ball of the Terpsk'horean Club. The ball will be the main event of a weekend of social activities honoring debutants from through out North Carolina. Mrs Riley's demonstration was in the form of an educational pro gram emphasizing good telephone usage She played a series of voice types on a tape recorder to show how the sound of a voice over the telephone is' associated with the nxmtal image' of how the listener believes a person looks. GRACE KONG BF.NG LEE, president of her WSCS Conference in Malaya, is now at tending her fifth Church confer ence. An English teacher in the Chinese high school in Kuala Lumpur, she speaks five of the major Chinese dialects as English, Malayan, Indiai^ Ad Japanese. There have to be nine types of Methodist churches in Malaya, she says, because of the nine very different types of dia lects spoken there. (The dress she is wearing is Malayan.
