HOPES TO GET SIGN A1S FROM MARS | HOPING TO RECEIVE radio signals from Mars when It reaches its nearest point to earth, four members of a scientific team make tests In Washington of a giant "radio ear" to be used in the experiment. The device is a radio receiver with a 50-foot parabolic reflector similar to the one used to pick up signs'< from Venus. It is set up in the U.S. Naval research laboratory. E. Carter 01 Sylva are operating the Carter furniture Shop in Maggie Valley, this ifrason. They are located next door to the Magt.ie Drug Store.
