FOWLER, Jr. SUPERINTENDENT i TO OUR FRIENDS IN HAYWOOD COUNTY PLEASE, EDWIN L. JONES PRESIDENT. TRUSTEES ACCEPT OUR SINCERE THANKS FOR THE COOPERATION GIVEN LAKE JUNALUSKA ASSEMBLY THIS SEASON! The 1956 season at Lake Junaluska has been by far the best in the 44-year history of the Assembly. Far more people visited the Assembly during the longest season we have ever held, and more countries and states were represented. It was through the cooperation of everyone that we were able to take care of the large groups ? The Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference in July, and the World Methodist Con ference in August and September. The citizens of Haywood cooperated 100 per cent with us in seeing that everyone was comfortably housed, and given delicious food. The helpfulness of our neighbors in Haywood has enabled us to bring the Western North Carolina Conference here next June, marking the beginning of another banner season. There will be more than 1300 registered delegates plus many other visitors. Our sincere thanks are given to everyone for your assistance. This spirit of unity will mean greater things for the entire county. We reciprocate your courtesies with genuine gratitude. i i 1 I I LAKE JUNALUSKA METHODIST ASSEMBLY LAKE J VN A L VS K A > I ' I WMHMH mmmmmmmmmmmmmrnrnrn . \\. hugh m assif: BUILDING-GROUNDS CHAIRMAN DR.
