Something new in the way of church functions?a complaint de partment?has been established in the Free Methodist Church of Waynesville, according to the par tor, the Rev. L, S. Hoover. Rev. Hoover explains that both members and non - members are welcome to make suggestions con cerning the various activities of the church. He added that an official board consisting 4>f the stewards and all other officers of the church Will present the idea and decide wheth er they are practical or not for the church. The suggestions may bo submitted either by letter or tele phone. Rev. Hoover pointed out that the bureau is being organized in order lhat the church may be of more service to the community which it serves as well as to the member ship of the church. It is hoped that the ideas offered will help to give the leaders ideas in order that the church will be run more efficient ly the moving of buildings went to Bower and Hurley, West Jefferson for $29,475. Also interesting to citizens of Western North Carolina is the fact that the commission plans to re ceive bids on the Willets to Balsam section of the road in the October lettings, This means that the entire relocation of this highway can go forward at once and not be delayed in sections and periods such as was the Dillsboro to Franklin section of U.
