Duiuth. an iron ore and grain- { loading port, is celebrating its 100th anniversary Lunchroom Group Met Monday Night At Fines Creek The fourth of a series of dinner programs on the importance of school lunchrooms was held Mon day night at Fines Creek? with about 50 attending. Prior meetings have been held at Hazelwood. WTHS, and Bethel. Mrs. Rufus Siler, supervisor of lunchrooms, said plans were to hold a similar meeting at Crabtree Iron Duff and Clyde in the near future. Charles Ross, principal at Fines Ci -ek, was master of ceremonieg. and presided. Cart Painter led the group singing. Talks on the value of the lunch room program were given by Mrs. Siler. Lawrence Leatherwood, county superintendent of educa tion; Mrs. Grace Stanley, and Mrs. Bell Kateliffe, supervisors, and Mrs. Rubye Bryson, public health nurse.
