Mrs. Hall Is Hostess For Auxiliary Party Mrs. Robert Hall was hostess at a Chriatmas party for the Ameri can Legion Auxiliary at her home on Keller St. Tuesday night. During the program. Mrs. Robert H. Gibson. Sr.. reported that the j Auxiliary sent five volunteers with 22 gifts to work at Moore General ! Hospital recently. The local wo men assisted in the wrapping of 77 i gifts for 26 patients. Also on the program were a Christmas prayer and story by Mrs Sarah Campbell, and Christmas carols played on the piano by Georgie Henson. Following the program, a social hour was held, and refreshments were served by the hostess, assist ed by Mrs. Leo Martel. Miss Kitchen Announces Wedding Plans Plans have been completed by Miss Rita Kitchen, daughter of Mr and Mrs. P R Kitchen, for her marriage to Cecil James Sit ton, son of Mr and Mrs Otu Sit ton of Bryson City The wedding will take place Sun day. December 23, at 4 p.m. in the Boyd Memorial Chapel of the First Methodist Church The Rev. Earl H. Brendall, pastor, will perform the ceremony and music will be presented by Mrs, Fred Calhoun, organist, and Mrs. Irvin Philman of Washington, D. C., soloist. The bride will be given in mar riage b> her father and the couple will be attended by Mrs. William H. Owen, sister of the bride, as matron of honor and William II Owen as best man Ushers will be Heg Moody and Jim Sneed, both of Bryson City.
