work since the set-up began and

May Leave Job

Mr. Brock, head' mechanic for,
the Duplin County school has made
known the possibility of his leav
ing the county. Mr. Brock has re
ceived a very flattering offer from.
another town and may leave unless
something can be done about it.
' Mr. Bowman stated that the
county would suffer a severe loss
if it let Mr. Brock go. Mr. Brock
agreed to continue with the county,
at least until the end of the pres-

Agricultural Census
Workers Begin
Enumerators in Duplin County
of the Agricultural Census began
work today following a meeting in
Kenansville yesterday with H. B.
Hargett of Trenton, assistant to
M. F. Aldredge of New Bern, sup
ervisor of this district, Mr. Har-
gett instructed the seventeen who
were present on the work.
Eighteen enumerators will be re
quired to cover Duplin in about
thirty days. The list Is as follows:
