Three leaves from a giant stalk grown by Mike Owens on the farm of Daniel Baars, on mile North of Bowden, brought to The Duplin Times office, this week, measured, the larg est 35 inches fsom stem to tip of leaf, and 17 1-2 inches at the widest point on the laf. The other two measured 84 inches from tip to stem, and 16 1-2 inches across.
