According to the United States Department of Agriculture the largest increases oc curred for fair and good cutters and fair to' choice lugs. In contrast, most low, lugs and all lower leaf offerings dropped I $1 to $5, per hundred. Best thin nondescript showed an extreme loss of $8.75. All but a few grades averaged from $L to $10.50 per hundred; over , the Commodity Credit Corporation sup port price. A few of the better cig arette type grades failed by as much as $4 tP reach the support level.
