C Rand-Quinn Vows Be Spoken Friday On Friday evening, June 3, at 8 o'eiock the Beulaville Presbyterian church was the scene of a formal wedding which united Miss Gerald ine Qultra, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Quinn of Beulaville, and Mr. William Neil Rand jf Clarksburg, W. The. home was decorated in a most attractive "manner carrying out the bridal motif. In the dining and living room, ensuito, white gladioli were used on the Ivy bank ed mantel with burning tapers in crystal holders on each end. The dining table was covered wi'h a cut-wnrk cloth and had nosegays of fern and white carnations on each corner. The three-tiered wed ding cake was on one with the rrystai punch bowl at the other end. Gladioli and tapers were used on the piano. Dr. and Mrs". Norris greeted the guests and introduced to the re ceiving line composed of the bride's parents, the groom's mother, the bridal couple and other members of the wedding party. After the bride and groom had cut the first slice, Mrs. I. J. Sand liu. Jr. saved the wedding cake. Miss Faye Quinn presided at the punch bowl. Others ass.sting at the erving 'individual bridal cakes, nuts, and mints were Misses Hazel Blizzard. Jacky Williams. Reaina IMgpen, Jessna Simpson, Jane l'stic, Janice B stic and Calesta Thigpen. Misses Grace Quinn aid Ruth Sanderson presided in the gift room, and Mrs. Adolph Jones pre sided at the register. Mr. and Mrs. M. M. Thigpen said the goodbyes. After the reception,-the bridal couple left for a wedding trip to unannounced points. For traveling the bride wore a navy blue faille suit with navy and white accesso ries nd the orchid from her bridal bouquet. Upon their rlurn the puple will be at home -in Clarks burg, W. Va. 'Mrs. Rand received her educa tion in the Beulaville High School and Raleigh School of Commerce. She hi Id a position with the Army at Camp Davis and Fort Bliss, Tex as for three years. Prior to her marriage she was bookkeeper in her father's local business firm, Mr. R.nd attended Richlands High School and N. C. State Coll ege. He served three years in the Army and now holds a position In West Virginia. ' Waller-Williams Reunion- The Waller-Williams Reunion was held Sunday June S with Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Hooten at Grifton. It was also Mr. and Mrs. Hooten's 25th wedding, anniversary. A large crowd was present and dinner was served picnic style. , ' We wish Mr. and Mrs. Hooten many more anniversaries.
