afternoon at the home of Mrs.
Vance PhilliDS. There were ten
member and four visitors present.

club president, and Mrs. Vance

year. The ' meeting was presided
over by lira. A. C. Lockamy. The
hostess served Jello, cookies and

Mrs. Bill Sheffield entertained

the rooms: where five tables were

was served consisting of creamed
chicken in patty shells, butter
beans, shrimp in tomato aspic rings,
cranberry sauce. Dickies and hot
rolls. For dessert the hostess served
tipsy cake and whipped cream.

The PTA "held its regular meet
ing Tuesday evening with approxi
mately 150 patrons attending. The
movie on Conservation and Wild
Life that, was to have been shown
was postoned due to a faulty elec
trical connection.
Mrs. V. A. Stancll's first grade
won the $5.00 prize for having the'
most representatives. A report of
membership drive showed that win
ning rooms were Mrs. J. C. Page's
3rd grade, Mrs. H. J. McGee's 5th
and Mrs. George Penney's 7th
grade.
The PTA is now feeding 30 under
