Faculty, Honors Miss .Stokes When the principal, Z. W. Fraz elle, called a meeting of the Ken ansvllle school faculty for immedia tely after school on Thursday in the home room ef Mrs. J. B. Wal lace, Miss Dianne Stokes thought it was just that - a teachers meet ing until she arrived in the room, attractively decorated in the Christ mas motif and was given a kitchen corsage. The refreshment table was over laid with a Chirstmas cloth and cen tered with a tinsel tree. Assorted Christmas cookies, cheese wafers and nuts were enjoyed by the guest with Mrs. . Amos Brinson pouring coffee. ' , , Following the refreshment hour, Santa paid a visit to Miss Stokes. A pack filled with all necessary items for the kitchen was delivered. The faculty's gift to Dianne was a leat her covered recipe box in which were favorite recipes of the guest. Mrs. J. 0. Stokes, Mrs. Z. W. Fraz elle and Mrs. Lauren Sharpe were additional-guest. Guthrie on Thu rsday evening when Mrs Joseph J. Wells was co-hostess with Mrs. Guthrie at a card party honoring Miss Dianne Stokes. Upon the ar rival of the guest. Miss-Stoke-was given an old fashioned nosegay of Better Times rases, her mother was given a corsage of the same. Individual rose corsage graced the refreshment plate for each guest present. Mrs. Phil Kretsch assisted the hos tesses in serving Christmas salad topped with whipped cream and cherries in grapefruit cups, cheese biscuits, fruit cake cookjes and cof fee to Miss Stokes, Mrs. Stokes, Miss Florrie Currie, Mesdames Florence Currie, J.
