Circles Meet ' .,.- . j Circle Wo. 1 met Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Joyce Albert son at 7:30. l , f ' ' The meeting was called to order and turned over to Mrs. Phoebe Pate who taught the Bible Study taken from MATTHEW 3: After a group discussion, Mrs. Julia Hinson presented the "Lets Talk About". During the business meeting the (.lowing were appointed as of ficers: Co-chairman - Mrs. Julia Hinson; Secretary - Mrs. Grace Clark, The group .filled out their workbooks and made plans for the coming year. At the close of the meeting Mrs. Albertson served delicious home made coconut cake and coffee to Julia Hinson, Grace Clark, Mar garet Edwards, Mrs. Pruett, Mrs, Phoebe Pate, Mayo Lanier, Ozell Jones and Mrs. Lou Belle Williams. Circle No. 2 met at the home of ,Mrs. York Lanier Tuesday evening at 7:30 with the circle chairman, Mrs. Scott Smith presiding. The meeting was opened with prayer led by Mrs. Scott Smith who followed with .the Bible Study with each member taking part. The following were appointed to serve witn Mrs. smun-syDu ianier co-chairman and Mrs. Javan Tho mas as secretary. During the business session the workbooks were filled out and a discussion was held on the project for the year. The group decided to have as their project for the year, a committee to visit all new com ers In the Beulaville area. Two members will be appointed each month to make the visits. Mrs. York Lanier and Mrs. Bill Carroll were appointed for October. At the close of the meeting, Mrs. Lanier served delicious refresh ments to Dorothy Smith, Peanie Blizzard. Javan Thomas, Irene Car roll, Sybil Lanier, Roma Dare Horne, Ermle Sanderson. The November meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Scott Smith. Deaths DANIEL S.
