Decorations Help Make Holiday Festive The Christmas spirit in our community is reflected in many ways by the decorated outside tree down at the Er win Mill y£i'd and the tall blue lights on top of the mill, saying "Merry Christ mas" and "Happy New Year", and the tree at the Shopping Center are making the com munity more attractive along with the outside decorations of the homes. All these things help us to enjoy the holiday season. Local Golfers Win Tournament The McCanless, first anmial Piedmont four-ball tournament which was .held .this, week in Howfcn County, was wtn by Charlie Jordan of Erwin Street and Harold Wilson of Marginal St. Cooleemee, N: C.
