Can Provide
Progress Plans
The State of North Caro
lina can provide the means
for progress. Governor Dan
Moore says, "but the effect
iveness depends entirely on
how well our COMMUNITY
and county leaders makes use
of them. Leadership will de
termine whether we succeed
or fail in seeking the de
velopment of the states re
sources. Our efforts to pre
serve the free enterprise sys
tem cannot be overdone.
All our effort for economic
development are geared so
that the state and local part
nership both public asd pri
vate will work together, in
partnership," he said, that the
Piedmont Crescent planning
program was established on
that basis.
