Spe cial guests were those who nav« filed for the office of Coiinty Commissioner. the guest speaker for the Evening was Mr. H. R. Hen drix, Jr.; present chairman of the Board Of Davie County Commissioners His talk was most interesting and infor mative as to the organiza tion and duties of the coun ty commissioners and also their responsibilities and participation in various prog rams of State and Federal government. After his talk a discussion period was held, followed by refreshments and a 'get-acquainted' period. The women then had their regu {ar business meeting and »lans were made for future activities of the Club. Program chairman, Mrs. Dolores Jordan, announced the guest speaker at our next monthly meeting, April 25th will be Mrs. Walter Liebs cher of Chinqua_Penn Plan tation, Reidsville, N.
