MOCKSVILUE _ Mrs. Val
der Miller Peacock, 71, of
Mocksvilie, Route 3, died at
1 P. M Monday at Davie
County Hospital.
She was born in Davie
County to Robert and Eugenie
Forest Miller. She was the
widow of Ellis Peacock.
Surviving are one brother,
Prank Miller of Mocksvilie,
Route 3. and one sister, Mrs.
Lizzie Brown of Lexington.
The funeral was at 2 P.M.
Wednesday at Turrentine Bap
tist Church. Burial was in the
church cemetery.

Youth
Recreation
The 1967 Youth Recreation
Program will begin with a
St Patrick's Day Dance Fri
day night at 7:30 p.m. in the
Mocksville Elementary School
Gymnasium. Featured for the
entire program ane the Day
tone's Combo from Winston-
Salem. Ronnie, John, James,
and Edward, will be on hand
to provide dancing music at
each of the Recreation prog
rams scheduled. All youth in
Davie County, ages 6-19 are
invited to attend. Admission
is 25c per person to help de
fray the cost of the combo.
Supervision will be provided
by Vestal Potts of Advance.
