The half after four p. m. wedding was performed by the Rev. Gilbert Miller, pastor of the church, and the Reverend E. M. Avett, a friend of the bride's family of Mocksville. A program of wedding mu sic was presented by Miss Sarah Foster, soloist, head of the Music Department of Lou isburg College, Louisburg, and Jimmy Neil Anderson, the bride's cousin of Mocksville, organist. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gordon Tom linson of Halander Drive, was graduated from Davie County High School and attended Louisburg College, where she was a member of the Glee Club and the newspaper staff. She was presented at the 1966 Debutante Ball in Lexington and is employed lor the sum mer as a staff member of the Davie County Enterprise-Rec- - ord The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Griffith I>- nier Jones of Winston-Salem. He was graduated from Park land High School in Winston- Salem and attended Louis burg College where he was a mem ber of the Glee Club. He also attended High Point College and is employed by R. J. •Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston - Salem. The bride was given in mar riage by her father. She wore an A-line gown of ivory silk organza designed with a scoop neckline and short sleeves. The empire bodice was en hanced by a Victorian capelet of reembroidered Alencon laoe. The skirt had rows of match ing lace which was also featur ed at the scalloped hemline. She wore a Cathedral man tilla of reembroidered Alencon lace attached to a pill box of peau de soie with lace appli ques and she carried a cascade bouquet of white roses,, step hanotis and gypsophilia cen tered with a white orchid. The bride's only ornament was heirloom diamond earrings of her great-grandmother's. Miss Victoria Davis was maid of honor. Honorary attendants, dressed in pastel street-length dresses and carrying single long-stem med pink roses, were Mrs. Don ald G. Martin, Jr., Mrs. Edward L Short presented them to the receiv ing line composed of th e bride's mother, her father, the groom's parents, the bridal couple and the bridesmaids. The guests were directed to the bride's table by Mrs. D. J. Mando. The table covered with pink net over a pink cloth was caught up at corners with pink satin bows and pink car nations.
