Easter Egg
Hunt Slated
For March 28
The annual community Eas
ter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the
local Jaycees and Jaycettes will
be held on Saturday, March 28,
at the Cooleemee Recreation
Center.
The first hunt, for children
ages 1-6 will begin at 1 p.m.
Children ages 7-12 will follow at
1:30.
Prizes will be awarded to the
first three children finding the
most eggs in their group but
each child will win a prize of
some type depending cm num
bers that will appear on the
eggs.
In case of bad weather the
hunt will be cancelled.

Children
To Have Hunt
The Cooleemee Jaycees and
Jaycettes will sponsor an Eas
ter Egg Hunt for tiie Retarded
children of Davie County on
Saturday, March 28, at the
Cooleemee Recreation Center.
The hunt will begin at 4 p.m.
In case of bad weather the
hunt will be cancelled

now being accepted for Clerk
Carrier positions with the U. S.
Post Office. Salary for most of
these positions is $3.06 per hour..

Easter Sunrise
Service Slated
The Church of the Good Shep
herd Episcopal Church will hold
an Easter Sunrise service at 6
p.m. on Sunday, March 29. The
Rev. Dan McCaskill will be
minister in charge.
The early service will be fol
lowed by breakfast in the Par
ish House. An Egg Hunt for the
children will also be held on the
church grounds at 10a.m.
