Foster Completes
Basic Training
Airman Kenneth E. Faster
has completed basis training at
Lackland Air Force Base,
Texas.
Following a fourteen day
leave here with his parents. Mr.
and Mrs. Hubert Faster, he will
be stationed at Malmstrom Air
Force Base. Montana.
Drifters Honor
Rev., Mrs. Frost
The Drifters Club of Liberty
Methodist Church honored Rev.
and Mrs. Robert Frost at a
luncheon on Tuesday, May 5, at
the home of Mrs. Floyd Mitchell
on Route 4, Mocksvilie.
Rev. Frost, pastor of Liberty
and Concord Methodist
churches, will be assigned to
pastor another church after the
annual conference next month
at Lake Junaluska.
Rev. and Mrs. Frost and
daughter, Teresa, will be leav
ing the community shortly after
the June conference.
Members of the Drifters Club
are Mrs. Bessie Nail, Mrs.
Juanita Frye, Mrs. Mary Mit
chell, Mrs. Sadie Steele and
Mrs. Beulah Munday. Mrs. Nel
lie Steele was a visitor for the
occasion.
The Frosts were presented a
gift from the club members.
