Mrs. Anderson said: "The continuing shortage of nursing personnel has created need for a nurses' assistant who is prepared to perform those duties associated with patient care which require only limited nursing service preparation. "Hie responsibility of the nursing assistant varies from hospital to hospital and other related institutions caring for the sick. In fact, the only con sistent factor in the job description is this lack of conformity. Each nursing service has the responsibility to describe the job and train the workers in its own agency. The procedures selected for in clusion in this course do not attempt to identify what the nursing assistant should do; rather they are only those procedures that have been taught to patients (so they could help the nurse I N j George Says SSEE US ■ B1 1 ■ George Frye TUK COMPLETE BRAKE SERVICE BRAKE SERVICE Precision Griadiag Provides Superior Finish Oa Hard Drews COM Griadiag Aad Fittiag Shoes To Draais REAVIS FORD Yadkiaville Highway Mocksville, N.C.
