Sunday guests of the Mclntyres were Mr. Bill McGee of Thomasville; Mr. and Mrs. Terry Burton of Rt. 4, Mocks ville; Marlene Allen of Cleve land; Betty Mclntyre of Lexing ton; and Mrs. Shirley Mclntyre of Salisbury and Fort Bragg. Mrs. Rich and Mrs. Allen are sisters of Mrs. Mclntyre and daughters of Mrs. Maude Nich ols, formerly of Cooleemee and now of Woodleaf, who makes her home with the Jim Mclntyre family. Also visiting on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Steele and Lynn and Clay and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mclntyre and Wendy, all of Woodleaf. DONNIE AND ERIC ALLEN and their two guests Danny Spry and Larry Knox were treated to a backyard picnic on Friday, August 28, by their grandmother Mrs. Ruth McDaniel. Hot dogs, potato chips, pick les, coke, and chocolate cake was served to the boys. MR. AND MRS. CHARLES CHURCH, Philip and Jennifer spent several days at Six Flags, Georgia. MR. EUGENE MILHOLEN of Emerson, New Jersey is ex pected to arrive here this week end to attend the September 6th wedding of his nephew, Charlie Hoover to Miss Diane Strick land. He will return home on Monday. MR. SAM CARTER of Dunn spent the weekend here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lomas Carter of Center Street. Accom panying Mr. Carter were Charlie and John West, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Charles 0. West, also of Dunn. MR. AND MRS. JIGGS CAMPBELL of Trenton, New Jersey, briefly visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill White on Friday evening. They came to Winston- Salem to attend a wedding on Saturday MR. AND MRS. BILL WHITE and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Snead left early Saturday morning for Carolina Beach to spend a couple of days vacation. They returned home yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon. MR. GAIL HUMBLE re-en tered Forsyth Memorial Hospi tal Monday for further treat ment. JOHN AND PAT CHAN DLER were the weekend guests of their grandmother, Mrs. Lula Chandler, at her home in Athens, Georgia. Their mater nal grandmother, Mrs. Cosby Sales of Watt Street accom panied them on the trip. They returned home Sunday night. MR. AND MRS. HENRY C. The table was covered with white linen and an arrangement of red and white roses. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Leonard and Diane. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Osborne and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Oliver and family, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Taylor and family, Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Barnhart, Mr. Luther Moon, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lee Ham pton, Mrs. Clarence Hampton and Mr. Wayne Joyner. Mrs. Wilma Osburne and Mrs. Jim Oliver assisted the serving.
