The following is a report of activities of the Retail Mer
chants of thisvcity in the sale of War Savings and Thrift Stamps
for the two weeks ending October 5th, 19IS.
The Farmville merchants were asked to sell $5,400.00 worth
of these stamps, and, according loathe following report, which ts
furnished us by Mr. A. II. joyner, 'chairman of this work, they
have gone "over the top" already with a grand- total of $6,52?.v^.
