A wedding of interest to friends in North Carolin and Virginia was that or Mr. Edwin Francis Capps of Kenley, N. C., and Miss No vella Horton of Farmville, N. C. The wedding took place in The Church of the Holy Com forter this city, Saturday after noon at two o'clock. Only a few friends were present. Rev. W. E. Cox an old friend of the bride's family officiating, speak ing the beautiful words of the service in a most impressive manner. The bride was given in mar-| riage by her brother, District Solicitor J. Loyd Horton, wore a going away gown and hat of dark brown. The groom's best man was his brother, Ensign C. W. Capps.. Immediately after the cere mony a course luncheon was given the bridal party by the bride's brother at the Richmond Hotel, after which Mr. and Mrs. Capps left for Atlantic City, N. J., and points north. Mrs. Capps is a very popular member of the younger set, a graduate of Woman's College, this city, and a charming young woman. The groom has recent ly received his discharge from the army where he held a lieu tenancy in the Aviation Corps. He was educated at the Univer sities of North Carolna and Ohio. They will be at home ia Ken ley, N. C., where Mr. Capps k junior partner of the Capps Motor Co.
