Woodmen of the World i MISS GARDNER HONORS BRIDE ELECT OF KINSTON Miss Genldine Gardner was a charming bridge hostess on Wednes day, entertaining a number of friends in compliment to Miss Frances Bar rett, of Einston, whose marriage to Robert Massey, of Zebulon, will take place on July 24. Lovely arrange ments of roses and gladioli were used in the Gardner home on North Main street. The bridal motif was used in table appointments, the place of the hon oree being m&rked with a corsage of white roses. Miss Frances Joyner, as winner of high score, received apple blossom cologne as $n award. Miss Barrett was presented with sil ver in her chosen pattern' by the hos tess. Miss Lillian White Gardner, sister of the hostess, assisted in serving an iced beverage upon the arrival of the guests and after the games a delici ous salad course, saltines, pickles, iced tea and decorated cakes.
