Around 1340 students will tramp

The enrollment figures^ of last J
year revealed around 660"white sfcu-f
dents and 690 Negro students were mi
school here and the authorities are!
expecting an even larger attendance!
for the 1941-42 session.
A formal program will be given on I

8:30 o'clock at chapel with an ad- II
dress featuring the exercises. Pa- F I

The 1944M1 term, reported as anal

of the school, viewed from both an-|

ments, closed on May 27, .? with a
graduating class composed of 84 boys j
and girls.
High school pupils and those of the
elementary grades above the first,!
who woe not enrolled here last year,
will register on Friday, August 29; j
the other elementary pupils following j
the usual custom, will register at)
their respective rooms on opening I
day.
The -Farmville graded school is
one of - the largest consolidated J
schools in the county ?nd is modern I
throughout. It is a 12 grade school!
with a 9 months term.
The Agricultural and Mannni Arts J
building and gymnasium were con- j
structed in 1939 at a cost of $80,000.
This unit provides adequate facili- j
ties for vocational industrial arts!
classes and a suitable and comforts-1
ble place for athtetic activities and
public meetings.'
The school had the distinctive hon
