"Spinning the Yarn" gave interest
ing happenings in the hanoree's pest
with predictions for her future. Miss
Elvira Tyson, dressed as a half boy,
half girl, presented a humorous skit
carrying on an imaginary, long dis
tance conversation between the bride
and groom Just prior to their mar
riage. Greetings and advice to the
bride were given hi song titles.
Mrs. Lang was then requested to
sing "Always" from the music riieet
arranged Especially for her on a
large screen, complete with notes of
the chorus. This was made more at
tractive with decouative sprays of
sweetpeas. She was told that this
had been selected as the theme song
for her married life. She was then
instructed to turn the sheet of music,
whereupon the many lovely miscel
laneous gifts from members of the
Woman's Missionary Society, Annie
Perkins Circle and Young Woman's
Auxiliary, were revealed.

followed by coffee, cheese strews and
