Of wide spread interest in the District and in North Carolina and Mississippi is the marriage of Mian Novella Hortoo Capps, daughter of Mrs. William Clinton Murray and the late Frank Capps, of Raleigh and Washington, and Ensign Frank Montgonu Adams, United States Navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry ?. Adams, of Tunica, Mississippi, which was solemnized in a formal ceremony, characterised by impreeaive dignity, Thursday afternoon, June #, at 5:00 o'clock in Bethlehem Chapel of the Washington Cathedral. The Rev. J. R. Rountree, of Kinston, .rector of the Farm villa Episcopal Church, offici ated in Hie double ring ceremony. Madonna lilies were in the altar vases, and cathedral candles in the alter asndelabra illumined the nup tial scene. , Prior to the ceremony, Paul Callo way, organist, presented ? program of nuptial selections, including the Prise Song from "Die Meistersinger", Liebestreum, by Uaat, and Andante Cantabile, by Tschaikowsky. The tra ditional wedding marches were used. Vested choir boys preceded the bridal party down the aisle singing Love Divine, All Loves Excelling. As the bridal party entered they sang the Bridal Chorus from "Lohengrin" and in a pause during the ceremony ren dered Oh, Perfect Love, The bride entered the Chapel with her stepfather, William C. Murray, by whom she was given in marriage. Her classic beauty ^raa accentuated by her bridal attire; the gown in the bodice mode was of imported white net and waa fashioned with dropped should ers and yoke of sheer net outlined by narrow double ruffles, which were used also in a cascade design down the full skirt, which was made over and fell in a long train. Her veil of French illusion was full length and cascaded from a coronet made of illusion and orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of brides' rosea, showered with stephanotia and cen tered with a cluster of orehidB. Her I only ornament whs a strand of pearls, | s gift of the bridegroom.
