The Community Bible School isl progressing in a fine way this week. The enrollment up to this time has been one hundred and fifty, with a faculty of twenty-two members. Special features are: an adult Bible Class taught by Rev. Willet Moretz and a Youth Class taught by Bar. Milton Robinson. Tyson, County Home Demonstration Recreation Leader, entertained the group with group singing and some of her many stunts that always bring forth laughter and excitement. Miss Pa tricia Jenkins served as pianist for the group singing. Fifteen junior girts and six senior girls entered the County 4-H Dress Review. Mrs. R. C. Pearce, former Assistant Home Demonstration Agent of Martin County, and. Mrs. S. It Tucker served as jpdges for the re Iview. , I Cornelia Mills, senior girl of the Langs Community 4-H Club was chosen aa winner in the Senior Re view and Beth Briley,. junior girl of the Sweet Gum Grove Community club was chosen as winner in the Junior Review. Other winners in the Senior Review were Ruth Moore of the Langs Club, second winner: and Mary Frances Hobgood winner of the Farmville club, third winner. Other winners in the" Junior Review were Hasd Garris of the'Langs Com munity club, second winner; end Gale Barnhill of the Sweet Gum Grove club, third winner. Other girls en tering Hie review deserve much credit for the garments which they made and modeled. Cornelia Mills modeled 'a church dress made of light weight wool ma terial, rose in color; the drees was simple in design, square neckline, fit ted bodice, and gathered skirt with a belt of the same material. Her .ac cessories were black patent leather shoes and bag, Mack straw hat trim med in rose flowers the same color as the drees, and white gloves. Cor nelia's outfit was a most attractive one and well made. The style and color was most becoming to her. Beth wpas a school dress very sim ple in design made of cotton print material. Her garment was well con structed and attractive in' appear ance. vP.'- . jHfo' ;J A prise of 96.00 was given to Cor nelia Mills, Senior Winner, and apprize of 92.50 was given to Ruth Briley, Junior winner.
