Club held their annual summer gat
together meeting at the suburban
home of Mrs. W. Jeese Moye, Wed
nesday afternoon, with Mrs. Frank

Artistic arrangements of gladioli,
dahlias and abulias lent to the Moye

gram of nuptial music and Mrs. R./0.

Bond. The traditional wedding

"Moonlight Sonata" was softly play
ed during the ceremony, at the close
of which, the two soloists rendered

The bride, given in marriage by
her father, Oscar G. Spell, wore a
dress of heavenly blue 'marquisette
eyelet in Hie tunic mode with a gros
grain ribbon trim in a darker shade
of blue. Her hat of pink horsehair
braid, was an off-face model with
pink fergetmenot trim and a finger
tip veil of blue. She carried a
prayer book covered by a white or
chid and tied with a shower of white
ribbons. ?
Mrs. O. G. Spell, Jr., of Golds
boro, attended her sister ss matron
of honor. She wore a pink sheer
crepe dress with lace trim and a
small brim]ess hat with flowerets.
She carried a bouquet of pink roses
tied with ptnk ribbon.
Miss Haxel Spell, another sister,
and Miss Shiriey Steagall, of Dur
ham, were maids of honor. Miss
Spell wore a yellow lace drees and a
white off-face hat. Miss Steagall's
gown was of green jersty and her
hat was similar to that of the other
bridesmaid. Both carried bouquets
of pink roses tied with pink ribbon,

best man. Ushers were Philip Harris,
of Candor, and Ensign Hubert Clark,
