College Extension Service says he
has been' advised that a considerable
quantity of tobacco is now being sold
oh the market at a price below its
lbsn raids.
He has; therefore, notified county
agents to fully advise growers re
garding the objectives and operating
plan of the new Flue-cured Tobacco

The objective of the Stabilisation
Corporation is to assist in making
government loans available to grow
ere on any tobacco for whkh the
price bid by private buyers on auc
tion markets is leas than tiie gov
ernment loan rate.
The new cooperative organisation
provider an agency through which
government loans can be made to
tobacco grower* most effectively,
and which can act fbr the growers
to selling loan 'tobacco with the
view of obtaining additional returns
above the amount of the loan.
It provides for the packing; stor
ing and selling of tobacco and for
distribution to growers on an equita
ble basis of any net teturns real
ised from the bale of the tobacco.
