With the presentation of diplomas to' 82 members of the senior class, Farmville high school Monday night will officially ring down the curtain on its 1946-47 session and will close another chapter in the lives of those young men and women to whom this page is dedicated. The program, which begins at 8 o'clock, will be featured by the com mencement address of Dr. H. S. Hil ley, president of Atlantic Christian College, Wilson. Graduates' who will receive their diplomas from John B. Monday night's program will open with the invocation by Rev. E. R. Clegg, pastor of Farmville Methodist Church. The high school glee dub will render four selections: "Mah Little Banjo," Dichmont; "A Winter Lullaby," Dekoven; "The Sleigh," Kountz; "The Donkey Serenade," Friml-Stothart. Dr. Hilley, an outstanding man in his profession, will be introduced by Arch J. Flanagan, a member of the school board. Following the address and the presentation of diplomas, Superintendent J. H. Moore will pre sent the special awards. Baccalaureate Sermon The baccalaureate sermon will be preached Sunday night by Rev. James M. McChesney, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Golds boro. "Come Thou Almighty King" has been selected as the opening hymn, following which Rev. Clegg will de liver the invocation. "The Heavens Are Calling," by Beethoven, will be presented as a special number by the glee club. After the reading of the scripture and a prayer by Rev. E. W. Holmes, pastor of the Farmville Baptist CSiurch, and another special number by the glee club, Rev. E. S. Coates, pastor of the Farmville Pres byterian Church, will introduce Rev. McChesney. "Onward Christian Sol diers" will be the closing hymn, and Rev. Z. B. T.
