Mrs. R. T. Williams scored high for
club members. Miss Elizabeth Davis
was awarded a milk glass goblet as
high scorer among the guests and
also retained the slam prize, .an ice
crusher. The hostess presented Mrs.
Wilkinson with a silver bonbon dish.
?NEW DEAL CLUB
Mrs. Alton W. Bobbitt delightfully
entertained the New Deal Club and
additional friends, Wednesday after
noon, at her home in which roses,
larkspur, daisies, Queen Anne's lace,
ragged robins, verbena and feverfew
were used as a lovely setting for the
five tables.
Following the second progression,
the tables were spread with refresh
ment cloths and centered with minia
ture arrangements of mixed flowers
for the serving of a delicious sweet
course consisting of block ice cream
in green and white, angel coke and
salted nuts. Robert Pollard assisted
the hostess in serving.
Mrs. W. M. Willis compiled high
score for members and was awarded
a crystal flower bowl. .Mrs. W. A
Pollard, Jr., scored high for guests
and received lovely handkerchiefs.
The consolation prize, a handker
chief, went to Mrs. John D. Dixon.
Mrs. W. A. Pollard, Jr., a recent

with inserts of lace. Her full length

of blue chiffon with matching net
caps and lace mitts. Their bouquets
