On Monday afternoon Mrs. L. R.
Ragles of Macclesfield conducted a
study class on the Book of Matthew
at the home of Mrs. Annie Flanagan
for the members of the Presbyterian
auxiliary.
This was a very helpful and in
teresting study. We had as our
guests Mesdames P. R. Hines, Elbert
Tyson and Rosa Eagles.
At the close of the meeting iced
drinks and cookies were served.
Mr. and Mia. Larry Worthingtdn
were hosts at a family reunion of the
Worthington and Tripp families on
Sunday, Nov. 9, at their home. Th&
reunion was held in honor of their
son, J. T., who has recently received
his discharge from the Marine Corps.
A dinner was served on a table in
the ykrd, picnic style, which consist
ed of baibeeue, slaw, fried chicken,
ham, pickles, sandwiches, salads,
cakes and assorted drinks.
There were around 40 gdeets for
the occasion.
