Fanners and Fountains’ Ware houses, two of Farmville’s mainstays, will be under the direct operation and management of John N. Fountain, who has long been associated with the local market and whose family name is closely connected with satis fied customers, regardless of what the type of business may be. Mr. Fountain, highly esteemed among business people in general and among tobacco growers, farmers and buyers in particular, is supported by an efficient sales and clerical force. G. E. Trevathan of Fountain, who faithfully served his town as mayoi and is now on the county Board of Education, is head of the force. It is he who supervises the clerical work and sees that the houses maintain their "reputation of being deeply con cerned over making sure their custo mers are more than satisfied, even pleased, with the manner in which the sales are conducted. k As is usually the case when a ,busi ness is operated smoothly and effic iently, few changes have been made in the personnel, and Farmers-Foun tains will operate this year with vir tually the same staff as in 1951. Mrs. John D. Dixon will be pay-off bookkeeper. John Andrews of Farm ville will be bookman; A. P. Caton and Arnold Lancaster are weigh masters; Julian Edwards, ticket marker; Mrs. Bat RuffinJ Mrs. Ted Albritton and Seth Barrow, billing clerks.
