co Villa was wounded while hiding in
the mountains near Durango, accord
ing to a report brought here today
by General Amaro. His capture is
expected soon.
ENJOYABLE CONCERT

At the Central school auditorium
last night the singing class from the
Odd Fellows Orphans Home at Golds
boro presented "The Princess Chrys
anthemum," a Japanese operetta.
The performance was witnessed by a
large and representative audience,
who enjoyed the entertainment very
highly. The proceeds of the enter
tainment were given entirely to the
Home, all expenses being borne by
the local lodge ot Odd Fellows. The
class left this morning for Granite
Falls, where they are to give their
entertainment tonight.
