At present the brafnch is haying a hard time flndjnK Enough robm for the great num Iber of soldiers who have formed tne habit of coming to the temple at 409 West Seventh street on Wednesday and Sundays to enjoy the entertainments and refreshments arranged for An innovation was introduced at Wednesday evening's dance. The ladies were permitted to choose their partners and the idea made a great hit with everybody. The music of the Jazz band was full of "pep" and made everybody long to get on the floor. The Sunday evening vaudeville | show and entertainment was unusual because the performers came from the camp rather than from the town. The soldier artist who aroused most en- i thusiasm were Messrs. Kirschertfjlatt. - Bronson and Roberts. Little Miss Smith sang and danced to the great delight of everybody present. There is a treat in store for the coming week because the Charlotte branch promises that the dance and entertainment will be the "best yet." Camp Activities. The construction of the new building has been temporarily delayed because its size has not yet been determined. The Jewish welfare representatives in Camp CIreene are very anxious to provide the best building Y. M. C A.
