Registration For Book 4 In October i Washington, Sept. 15 A nation- wide registration for Ration Book No. j 4 which the office of Price Adminis tratin (CPA) hopes will be the last ration book of the war will be held I within the last ten days of October. ' An OPA spokesman, in disclosing plans today for distribution of the new set of coupons, said it was hoped the j book would last three years, if neces ! saiy. It will be used in conjunction j with bock No. 3 and with glass or j plastic tokens scheduled for distribu I tion after Jan. I. The decision to hold another school- house registration, instead of distri I buting the boc k by mail as was done ! with No. 3. is based on OPA's desire to get the new coupons into use in November. The books will be passed out at the registration, saving time, labor and expense. Exact dates and places of registra tion in each community will be deter mined by regional and local rationing officials.
