The school will begin with a covered dish meal on Sunday June 26 at 6:30 p.m. and continue each evening through Friday, July 1 . There will be classes for all ages including the adults. The school will meet with the Rex church this year. The W.M.U. meeting, Thursay, June 23, will be held at The Open Arms Rest Home in Raeford. Two members of The Baptist Church are in this home, Miss Lina Chason, and Ernest D. McGougan. , There will be a Music Clinc held at the Red Springs Baptist Church, Sunday evening, June 26, at 2:30. The public is invited. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Talmadge Elliott and Mrs. Jon Tyner went with the Youth Group of The Baptist Church and several from the Presbyterian Church to Sherwood Forest Park. Myrtle Beach from Friday evening until Sunday. Those enjoying the trip were, Marcus Thompson, Cathy, Monica and Wayne Tyner, Stevie Ammons, George and Sherry Elliott, Denies and Aysen Williford. Rev. and Mrs. Stacy A. Wells spent several days last week at Carolina Beach with their son. Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Wells Jr. and family. Glenn H. Clark was a delegate from the Presbyterian Church to attend the Presbytery this week in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. J.C. Chason spent Friday night and Saturday with her brother and sister - in - law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Edwin Clifton Jr., Saturday night and Sunday with her sister and nephew, Mrs. Allie Keeter and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Keeter and familv, and brother", Dennis Clifton. Rob Schoch of Vanceboro visited his mother - in - law, Mrs. Hunter Forbes, Thursday through Sunday. Mrs. Schoch and son, Jeffrey are on a trip with friends to Loft, Oklahoma. Mr. and Mrs. William Jenkins of New Bern spent last week with Mrs. Forbes. Mr. and Mrs. J. Fulford McMillan visited the Sumner's Thursday night. Mrs. A.F. Tolar is suffering with an ear infection. She was feeling better Monday. Mrs. Clinton Jackson returned home from Scotland Memorial Hospital Friday and went back for a check up Monday. Richard Cox is home after spending two week's in South eastern Memorial Hospital and, is getting along very well. Mrs. Ethel Gibson of Rockfish spent Monday with Mrs. S.E. Sumner. Eddie Caddell of Raleigh spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Caddell. Mrs. Lois Capps of Gilmer, Texas is spending the summer with her mother and sister, Mrs. Allie Kate Maxwell and Mrs. Flo Clardy. Schell were Sgt. and Mrs. William Schell and daughters from Goldsboro and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schell and children of Charlotte. Miss Pamela Sumner made the trip on the Wagon Train last weekend. She said they had a nice time, but the weather was very hot. PCA Leaders Attend Conference Officials representing the South east Production Credit Association and the Federal Land Bank Associ ation of Lumberton have just returned from Atlanta, Ga. where they attended the annual confer ence of Production Credit Associa tion and Federal Land Bank As sociation directors and presidents in the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida. The conference held at the Marriott Hotel June 15-17 was sponsored by the Federal Inter mediate Credit Bank of Columbia, South Carolina and The Federal Land Bank of Columbia, South Carolina.
