CCC To Sell Corn ? Farmers and other interested persons will be eligible to purchase corn from the Commodity Credit Corporation starting May 21. Jerry C. Scott, acting state executive director of the Agricul tural Stabilization and Conserva tion Committee, said the CCC will offer corn for unrestricted use sale at market prices, but not less than the formula price which is 145 'J percent of the county loan rate where corn stored times 105 per cent. The minimum quantity that will be considered for acceptance is 1.000 bushels. Here in North Carolina, the corn is stored at the following locations: Fred Webb. Inc., Greenville. N.C.; Cargill, Inc.. Washington. N.C.; Bell Farms. Inc.. Pantego; Edges Grain Mkt., Inc.. Whiteville; and Cargill. Inc.. and Johnson Grain Company. Kinston. N.C. According to Scott, offers will be received and sales will be made on a first come, first served basis. The CCC will offer for sale a total of 4.5 million bushels of corn stored in Georgia. Kentucky.
