number two. The Kiwanis Club
picked up 15 serving points from
David Howell.
A third thrilling round paired
Bad Co. with Carter's Pig - N -
Chicken. In a three game stretch,
Pig - N - Chicken took the win
10-15, 15-4. and 15-10. Joe Ortiz
and Mark Madden sparked the Pig
- N - Chicken while Steve Sawyer
and Mack Lewis led Bad Co.
The final rally went to the
Kiuanis Club over 401 Gulf 15-3
and 1 5-8. John Howard served 10
points to pace the Kiwanis to their
season s opening victory. 401 Gulf
maintained excellent efforts from
all members including Mike
Melton who gathered 8 serving
points. .

720 Olivieri Lane. Virginia Beach.
Va., has reenlisted in the U.S. Air
Force after being selected for career
status.
Assigned at McGuire Air Force
Base, N. J., Bolton was approved
for reenlistment by a board which
considered character and per
formance.
The sergeant, a corrosion control
specialist with the 438th Field
Maintenance Squadron, is a 1978
graduate of Bayside High School,
Virginia Beach.
His wife, Sharon, is the daughter
of Rose Burguess of 3412 Standi _

Scurlock Students Give Play
A ?
A Thanksgiving program was
presented Thursday by Pam Pat
terson's and Janelle Thompkins's
Second Grade class at South Hoke
Elementary school.
Parents and special guests were
invited to the turkey lunch, then
the class play and several choral
readings were given by the stu
dents.
Refreshments prepared by the
children were served after the
program.
About 15 parents and other adult
guests attended.
